Where are the new tech titans go after a hard days work? I will give you a quick tour of some of the popular tech guru’s houses. After reading this article you will see it really does ‘pay off’ to be a geek in these modern times. The rewards are amazing and there is always room for growth.
Dick Costolo, Twitter

Let’s start our little home tour with Twitter’s CEO Dick Costolo. He left the winters of Chicago to head over to California. He bought this $3.2 million home in Corte Mader, Calif (just north of San Francisco) in 2009.
Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook

Next, let’s head over to Mark Zuckerberg’s. He is the inventor of the popoular social network we know as Facebook. He lives in Palo Alto, CA. He paid $7 million for this house last year, which has a salt water pool and spa. That is pretty cheap to some considering Facebook is expected to be worth more than$100 billion by the end of 2012.
This 5 Bedroom, 5 full 2 half bathroom, 5,617 square foot house was built in 1903. The master bathroom has an old fashioned marble tub and heated floors. The sun room opens up to the yard as well. The best part about his location: it’s right by the offices of Facebook.
Mark Pincus, Zynga

Mark is the founder and CEO of Zynga, maker of CityVille, FarmVille, Words With Friends and other popular online games.
The location of Mark Pincus’ Home is in San Francisco with an estimated value of $8.9 million. It has 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.
The stately $8.9 million Presidio Heights mansion includes a penthouse level with a terrace, media room, an au pair unit and an office. The home in Cole Valley gives panoramic views of the city and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Sean Parker, Spotify and Founder’s Fund

Sean Parker is the former Facebook president and Napster co-founder. Right now, Parker is managing director at the Founders Fund, a San Francisco venture capital firm. He is also a director of Spotify, an online music service which he purchased last year after renting it for some time then buying the majority of it over time.
Sean Parker’s home is worth $20 million. This 7,500 square foot house has 6 bedrooms and 7 full and 1 half bathrooms.
This $20 million dollar mansion was owned by Italian liquor heir Enrico Cinzano. This house includes an indoor pool and gym, theater, a chef’s kitchen and an elevator.
Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook, and David Goldberg, Survey Monkey

Sheryl Sandberg is the chief operating officer of Facebook. Sandberg’s husband David Goldberg is the CEO of SurveyMonkey.
Sheryl Sandberg and David Goldberg’s home is worth $8.6 million. Sandberg’s7,890 square foot house has 5 bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms.
Sheryl Sandberg holds events at their house and this is where she met and got to know Mark Zuckerberg. She eventually left Google to help run the rapidly growing social site of Facebook.
Marissa Mayer, Google

Marissa Mayer is the vice president at Google. Her husband, Zachary Bogue, is the co-founder of Founders Den, a shared office space and private club for tech entrepreneurs in San Francisco. This house is just a couple blocks from the garage where Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard founded HP in 1939.
This 5,200 square foothouse is now worth$5 million, but, Marissa Mayer and Zachary Bogue originally purchased it for $1.8 million. The home has 5 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. The house is located in Palo Alto, CA.
